Yep, all my our home hosts now have normal IPv6 addresses. The tunnel is provided by Hurricane Electric and I received 2001:470:1f0b:cfb::/64 network.
After some OpenWRT firmware adjustment by trial and error (hey, do I need kmod-switch? I guess no… Oops, I cannot connect… reflash…) 4 machines got their IPs (statically assigned, did not configure RA support), relevant tunnel startup/shutdown commands were added to custom hotplug.d script so all my machines are now part of the global network.
6tunnel seems to be not up to the task since the tunnel cannot be brought up w/o first obtaining the IP. Since ISPs do not usually provide static IPv4 address to residential users it is impossible to use the 6tunnel configuration file as is. When I become really familiar with tunnels I might alter the scripts to provide event-based tunnels (i.e. those that will start when parent interface is started). For now I have removed 6tunnel scripts from my router.
